At Carlton Couture we offer bespoke dressmaking and design in respect of the bride, her bridesmaids, page boys and mother of the bride. Some clients have formed their very precise thoughts prior to our initial meeting. Others seek inspiration and guidance via discussion and as a result of viewing a selection of our recent commission photographs and examples of work currently in progress.
The conversation with the client will cover ideas and alternatives, the ultimate desire and the budget.
Once these matters have been agreed, drawing and fabric swatches are the first episode in the story of the wedding dress culminating in the final chapter, the happy ending.
The number of required fittings during this period is dependant on the complexity of the design.
Throughout the commission we supervise all work personally.
Our service also extends to cover evening, ball, prom, cocktail and other special occasion wear in addition to co-ordinated hats, fascinators, tiaras and bags.
