Poppy Caterers is a bespoke catering company which was founded by Simon Halmshaw a former Army Officer who served over 25 years in the Army Catering Corp and the Royal Logistic Corp.

  
York Based Poppy Caterers offer a total eating experience which offers creative, innovative and stylish menus that are truly memorable. However, we always plan and design your wedding menu based on your specific tastes and requirements whilst using only the finest and freshest local ingredients.


During his career Simon has been involved in many high profile events catering for many VIPS from Her Majesty the Queen to numerous Foreign and Commonwealth Ambassadors to Lords and Ladies.


It is because of this wealth of experience and knowledge Poppy has grown into the success it is today.  Applying the same level of commitment and attention to detail to every function and event.  Simon and his highly dedicated team leave no stone unturned, providing you with an enjoyable and memorable event.
