The Wedding Affair at Grays Court

Sunday 25th April 2010

After having been hit by extreme weather conditions at our last event, we were very pleased that The Wedding Affair at Grays Court had glorious sunshine for most of the day! The beautiful old building opened its doors to a succession of brides-to-be to show exactly what it had to offer, along with a wide variety of some of the best suppliers in the industry. Many thanks to all the exhibitors and to the hard working team at Grays Court who pulled out all the stops to help make the day a resounding success – we can’t thank them enough.

Despite being one of the most historical residential buildings in the country, Grays Court is a ‘new’ venue and coupled with the beautiful gardens surrounded by the Bar Walls, it is a fantastic city centre location which provides an amazing backdrop to your event. A number of stunning rooms are available and the venue is yours for the day. As the preferred external wedding planners for Grays Court, The Wedding Affair would be delighted to discuss your options further.

The Wedding Affair would like to congratulate Helen Moore of York, our winner of the £250 cash prize, to be spent with either the venue or an exhibitor of her choice from the day. We will let you know which of our fantastic suppliers that Helen chooses.

A huge thank you to Jim Poyner Photography for providing us with lots of lovely photos of the event (despite being kept very busy talking to brides-to-be) and to Homebaked Heaven and Molton Brown for sponsoring the gift bags and giving us yummy treats to put inside them.  Also a big thank you to The Occasional Table Ltd who supplied delicious canapés on arrival – these guys really can cook!
