BRIDAL GOWN AND OCCASION WEAR AWARD WINNING DESIGNER IAN STUART MAKES A SUPRISE VISIT TO RAGDOLL OF PUDSEY……………...
Ragdoll of Pudsey held an in house Fashion day on Sunday 16th January for the Mothers of the bride or groom to showcase the couture collection from Ian Stuart.
With three informal fashion shows through out the day models presented his Neapolitan spring collection.
During the day guests and staff were delighted when, unannounced, the multi award winning designer Ian Stuart (who was born in Pudsey) called into the shop whilst visiting family in the region.
Owner Maxine Thornton said “We were all very surprised and thrilled when Ian walked through the door. Ian was aware of the fashion day to promote his collection and he felt that since Ragdoll was the first boutique to order his very first collection back in Spring 2009 he just had to call in and support this special day.
Ian Spent the rest of the day in store discussing his latest stunning occasion wear collection with clients and staff.

The Wedding Affair have another Celebrity Wedding to tell you about... Michael Buble and Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, they've set the date for 6th April 2011. We wish them all the very best and if Michael ever fancies popping to York, we have some lovely wedding fairs he can attend! PS. Luisana's diamond engagement ring is from Vancouver jeweller 'Minichiello', lucky girl.

Congratulations to bespoke milliner, Suzanne Gill, whose fantastic creations are being showcased exclusively at one of London’s most prestigious locations. LK Bennett in Threadneedle Street is giving pride of place to a collection of hats made by Suzanne. It’s the first time that she has showcased her headwear in the capital since graduating in the summer from the Leeds College of Art with a distinction in Millinery.

Milliner Suzanne Gill has one of her creations on show at Lotherton Hall, near Leeds. "Swan Song" is made from old vinyl LP records and shows what can be done when combining sheer flair and creativity with a desire to recycle. "Swan Song" forms part of the 'Ruffled Feathers' exhibition and is featured alongside the work of celebrated British designer, Philip Treacy. The exhibition runs until 31 December 2010.
