We do hope you will join us for The Wedding Affair at Sutton Park on Sunday, 27th May 2012 from 12.00-4.00pm.

Sutton Park was built in the eighteenth century by Philip Harland. It is now the family home of Sir Reginald and Lady Sheffield. When the Sheffields bought the house in 1963 they moved much of their collection from Normanby Park in Lincolnshire. Large parts of this collection were originally from Buckingham House, the family's London home built by John Sheffield, 1st Duke of Buckingham, which is now known world-wide as the Queen's official residence - Buckingham Palace.

The House is a fine example of early Georgian architecture overlooking beautiful parkland. It is filled with a rich collection of treasures all put together with great style and often filled with flowers from the garden, and is the perfect place to hold your wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Fair will take place in a marquee on the lawn, provided by Your Marquee, one of York's newest and finest marquee companies.  Housing over 30 fabulous local exhibitors, this Fair will provide Brides and Grooms with the chance to seek advice, ideas and be entertained for the afternoon.

We look forward to meeting you – don’t forget, it's free admission and open to everyone...
