Welcome to The Big Day Film Company. We are a team of documentary filmmakers with wealth of experience making programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Discovery. Company Director Rachel spent over 13 years producing and directing network television and her partner Nik is a documentary cameraman whose credits include Who Do You Think You Are filmed with supermodel Jodie Kidd and the award-winning Indian Hill Railways series on BBC2.
Our bespoke service applies the same attention to detail, passion, creativity and dedication to high-end beautiful wedding and event films. We pride ourselves on our personal approach, working with you to design and create a stunning memory of the happiest of days.
We take the utmost care to ensure we do not impact on any enjoyment, we act discreetly and our aim is to blend into the background as much as possible whilst capturing the very best moments. All of our camera / sound equipment and post-production facilities are broadcast quality.
